Spoiled Intentions

Lying down, mind wandering

What desired items remain lacking

Dissatisfaction wanting more

Fortune’s favor is missing for sure

Grumbling and whining in some bar

Pathetic torque from this small car

Resort with more stars is hoped

For weekend away playing golf

Fastfood to go is not enough

Fine dining is an absolute must

Craving scones, cakes and pastries

Sated by none but fancy high teas

Until one night before bed

True story of an orphan read

Suddenly felt somewhat guilty

A spoiled brat embarrassed slightly

A good sign one might say

Promising humility come new day

But something strange seems to happen

Old self from slumber is awaken

Good intentions, failed actions

Like robots going through motions

Keep going without surrender

Chances to take and another
